LOL! This is a good one.

I missed class last Wednesday because I was really sick with the flu. I knew I had a quiz tonight in that class, and the syllabus said it was on Chapter 5.

A couple of weeks ago, I noticed that my book’s cover was a different color than some of the others in the class. I said that it was the only one the bookstore had available and it listed it as the one for this course section. The professor told me that I had the whole book which actually spanned two classes offered, so I wouldn’t need to buy another book when I took the other class. Good, right? Wrong.

I studied chapter 5, and was ready for the test. When he put the test in front of me, the questions rang no bells. I didn’t even know where the questions came from. I now know what the difference is in my book. THE CHAPTERS ARE ALL PRESENT, BUT IN A DIFFERENT ORDER. I guessed at the answers, and am not sure I got any of them right. Luckily for me, there are seven quizzes throughout the semester, and he takes only the five best scores when figuring our grade, so I get to blow one more.

I will make sure from here on out to grab the TITLE of the chapter before studying. I feel like such a n00b.
