I don’t get why this isn’t fixed. Google has known about this issue of fonts not rendering correctly in Chrome on a Mac for over a year and is still not fixing it. It is annoying to users like me, but absolutely mind numbing for web developers. The first picture is what the site is supposed to look like, and it does, on Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Firefox, on Windows. It even looks right on Safari on a Mac, but not Chrome on a Mac. For that one, we get this plain Serif font in its place. Ugh.
Do you have one of the new Macbook Pros with 10.7 installed? I was having font issues with Chrome but after going to 10.8, the problems went away. Now Chrome and Safari look the same…
